Team Coaching Clinic

Is your team looking to get some training to help develop your game play?  Pride Captial Volleyball is excited to offer team training sessions with James Battiston. James spent six years playing professional volleyball, two years in Europe and four years as a member of our Canadian beach National Team. Whatever skills your team would like to work on, James can design practice sessions to help you meet your objectives.  When you book a session, you’ll have the chance to identify specific focus areas, whether it is individual skills, defensive and offensive systems, or implementing and forming strategies.

  • Cost will be $180 and can be booked exclusively for your team or feel free to bring another team or additional players up to a maximum of 12 players.

Tournament Details

The tournament has three divisions: Elite, Competitive and Intermediate. Make sure to complete registration for your correct division! If you are not sure what to register for or have specific questions about format, please write to belinda@govleague.ca.

Your registration will include a field for you to indicate your team's estimated skill level.

This year is shaping up to be our biggest tournament yet, with 11 courts across 3 venues, and we are expecting to welcome 55 teams this year! As a result, we are opening up three different divisions for registration:

  1. The Intermediate division (playing at uOttawa), which highlights strategic plays and effective teamwork, formerly B and C;

  2. The Competitive division (playing at Franco-Cité), which includes coordinated play against fierce rivals who contend at high levels of skill and strategy, formerly A and BB; and

  3. The new Elite division (playing at La Cité), where you want to play against the best of the best, formerly AA.

The tournament will include a round-robin portion to determine placement, followed with teams competing in playoff matches within their respective divisions.

Please note that while we strive to accommodate all teams’ requests, we reserve the right to place teams where we think they will fit best, based on the registration turnout.

Registration and waitlists are now closed.
